Plus food...
Yohan was an expert huckster, but he barely had to flex his haggling muscles to acquire: 10 bushels of groats, 6 of oats (192 lbs) and 4 of barley (192 lbs), at 1 Münze/bushel (10 Münzen); 2 of dried beans (100 lbs/4 Münzen) and 2 of peas (120 lbs/5 Münzen); 3 bushels of crisp apples (140 lbs/6 Münzen); and several different types of vegetables, 2 bushels each of cabbages (100 lbs), potatoes (120 lbs), onions (115 lbs), carrots (100 lbs), turnips (110 lbs), and neeps (100 lbs) at 2 Münzen/bushel (24 Münzen). They were also able to purchase a firkin of butter (56 lbs) for 1 Shilling/lb (5 Münzen, 6 Schillinge) and 5 gallons of honey for 1 Shilling/quart (2 Münzen/ 60 lbs). There still had much to buy...but it was a very good start, and they'd only spent 56 Münzen, 6 Schillinge to do it! Of course, they'd gone to market to try and lighten their load, and were coming back with over 1500 lbs of food, but...
And, the elephant in the corner (or actually, in the exact centre of the wagon bed with everything else packed around it), a refrigerator-sized medicine cabinet, weighing in at 700+ lbs!
