<p>The Artefacts that make such a thing as the complete destruction of the Cosmos possible contain power beyond mortal comprehension. </p><p><ul><li>The Dagger of Kamui holds such great power that it is able to kill the Gods themselves.</li><li>The Cup of Zinghe grants immortality, even from the Dagger.</li><li>The Crest of Ahrimon gives power over plagues and pestilence. </li><li>The Veranite Talisman gives power over nature.</li><li>The Necronomican grants power over the supernatural.</li><li>The Unholy Prayer Beads of Estoc allow entry of the Nameless One into this world.</li><li>The seventh, and supposedly most powerful, artefact is called the Ultimate Sacrifice. No one knows what it is, or what it is for.</li></ul></p>

<p>On the last day that Haven existed as an intact world, the nature of the seventh artefact was discovered. It was not, in fact, an artefact at all but a powerful spell, <i>Spirit of Power,</i> cast to summon Raziel Mallaithe and give him corporeal substance, in the process demanding of his priests the "ultimate sacrifice".</p>
