The beautiful world of Haven had become a glaring maelstrom of light and colour, cacophonous sound and screaming terrified souls, a cloud of dust, a cloud of energy, spreading out across the solar system...and across the planes. The dweometric forces released were as overwhelming as the physical manifestations. The fatal blow to the Dark One proved too much for the fragile planetary balance. Even as the forces of Good triumphed, the world began to crumble beneath their feet. The hopes and dreams of millions perished in an instant. They won, but at what cost…At what cost?
Unbelievably, a few strong souls survived. With the swirling remnants of their shattered world surrounding them, they were swept into the darkness, alone as no one has ever been alone, each just single, separate motes in a vast, expanding universe. Strange energies coursed through their bodies, buffeting them relentlessly. Some were simply crushed by the unnatural forces that engulfed them, and all feared that they too would be shattered in the death throes of the dying gods...the dying world. Lost and despairing they fell for seconds or for eons, sliding down a razor's edge of madness...
Beloved Haven is lost. Would these poor tattered survivors ever find...
